Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American actor and model who has appeared on a variety of movies and television shows over the course of her career. Initially she worked as an actress and model. But, once she became famous internationally she started acting. In 1995 she began acting in the television series "Baywatch Nights". She has also done voice-overs and been the voice of an animation version 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker'. Harmon decided early in 2000 to quit performing on television and to concentrate exclusively on films. The return to TV acting shows came after she appeared in only a few movies. One of the rare actors in 2008 who discreetly posed nude in "Allure" the magazine. The character of detective Jane Rizzoli was her most significant work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. She was appreciated by viewers for her role as a detective and won awards. Angie Harmon was nominated over several years due to her outstanding performances, however she has not won any awards.
