Amanda Elizabeth Righetti (born Amanda Elizabeth Righetti) is an American actor and producer. She became famous for her character the role of Special Agent Grace Van Pelt on CBS Police procedural program The Mentalist. Righetti is a Utah resident, had always longed to be a performer. At the age of 4, she began dancing. Love and Happiness was the 1995 movie that saw her making her debut in film. She debuted on the small screen as a guest on CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Between 2008 and 2015, she was Grace Van Pelt, earning high praise from critics. Righetti has been recently cast as Madeline Kenner by USA Networks in the science-fiction show Colony.
