Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV personality in the United States and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive hairstyle and her pumped up appearance, offers the basics of cooking that any person can master. Chef Burrell has also worked at some of the top restaurants in New York, studied the cuisine and culture of Italy and competed in Food Network's Iron Chef America. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was inspired by food. The Culinary Institute of America is where she enrolled following her graduation with an English degree as well as a communications certificate from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was a fantastic learning experience. It was impossible to take enough pleasure from the experience. Following graduation, Chef Burrell spent a year in Italy taking classes at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working for La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany. In Italy, Chef Burrell developed an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian culinary traditions. It made a huge impact on how she views food. Burrell is a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children who are facing difficulties. She also serves as an Juvenile diabetes research foundation Celebrity Ambassador. she is an advocate for the awareness of juvenile diabetes. Burrell travels extensively across the United States in her position as a mentor as well as a public speaker in which she speaks about her career and love of cooking. Throughout Anne's culinary journey she has often said that I am very fortunate to share what I love most for life with people.
